Get set for a more relaxing tour of Abuja, the center of Nigeria built mainly in the 1980s. Located in north-central geopolitical zone of Nigeria, Abuja FCT is a planned city and officially became Nigeria’s capital in 1991, replacing Lagos. The FCT is divided into six area councils which include Abuja municipal, Gwagwalada, Abaji, Kuje, Bwari and Kwali.
Our first stop is the Abuja Jabi Lake: This is a mysterious lake of sorts. As small as it looks, its water level remains constant throughout the year and it’s a home to crocodiles and other reptiles. Proceed to Shoprite shopping Mall. And Abuja Millennium Park: Commissioned in 2004 by Her Royal Highness, Queen Elizabeth II of England, this park has a nice walkway with fountains and lights. A good spot to come for a picnic.. We will then proceed to National Arboretum: The purpose of the Arboretum, which is located in the Three Arms Zone, is to maintain the forest and other plant life within it in their natural condition. We will check out different species of birds within the city.
After rest, proceed back to the hotel,
